how to build a ____ . is a series of artists' responses to organizing a creative practice in 20 steps. 

Jane Ferry is a tall person with long fingers making art half the time in Philidelphia and half the time in the woods of Michigan. She loves to hot glue sticks together andmake stuff with whatever is in front of her right now. She loves to play with words in conversation and in writing and draw collaboratively as a form of hanging out. She values friendship, trees, pranks, elementary physics, listening, watching, and wrestling. Right now she is a cook at Ox-Bow School of Art & Artists’ Residency and frequently attempts to incorporate peanut butter into the food served. When she is not doing that, she is studying metaphysics and trying to debunk nonduality.
